British Museum announces shortlist for Western Range galleries project

The British Museum has announced a shortlist of five architect-led consultant teams for the second stage of its Western Range architectural competition.

David Chipperfield, Eric Parry and OMA are among the practices vying for the job to develop designs for around a third of the museum’s gallery space and significant back of house areas covering 15,650 sq m.
