UK ‘sleepwalking’ towards retrofit crisis, report says

Less than a quarter of organisations are making their buildings more sustainable, according to report by Ridge

Fewer than one in four public or private sector organisations are trying to make their buildings more sustainable according to a new report which claims the UK is “sleepwalking towards a retrofit crisis”. 

The report by consultants Ridge and Partners surveyed 101 property and facilities heads across the UK and found just one in ten organisations had assigned any kind of budget to retrofitting their non-domestic premises.
