Government claims 115,000 homes across England will benefit
The government has announced the allocation of £1.8bn in funding to improve the energy efficiency of an estimated 115,000 homes and public buildings across England.
Local authorities, social housing providers and charities have been awarded £1.4bn to upgrade homes through the £778m Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund and the £630m Home Upgrade Grant to install energy-saving measures from loft insulation to new windows.
